Seems as if the recent glitch has caused a reset. My traffic's a couple of thousand up from normal. Very pleasing smile

Mine is back to low normal, but I can live with that much as I'd like for it to be up!

      how to increase traffic?
what is the function of traffic when we publish an article?
does it helpful in public procedure?

        Hi Adnan,

You increase traffic (readers) by writing good quality articles. And lots of them.

Traffic is how you earn money here. Traffic results in impressions (people seeing the ads on your articles), which is how your earnings are calculated.

I don't understand what you mean by the last question.

Sorry, In last question the word is publish not public. writing mistake.

I'm still unsure of the question. You cannot get external traffic until an article is published, i.e. online and visible.

Agreed. Not sure what’s happened but it’s definitely flowing back in again. Great to see

      Yessss. Good to see.

When do you think we'll get recompensated for the $$ we lost from the artificially low numbers?

My earnings were the same as usual smile

Since the glitch was internal, HP has all the figures and likely compensated normally, so  I wouldn't expect to get any more money.

Right. My earnings for the day of the glitch are slightly above what I normally earn in a day, so I think we were paid for our actual traffic, not the artificially low numbers we were seeing.

I have made some cynical and pessimistic posts about the future of online article writing. So far, I have been proven dead wrong.  I am totally fine with that. big_smile

I don't detect any major changes so far, though difficult to tell anything after a couple of days unless it's very dramatic. As far as I'm aware the HP glitch was an internal affair that coincided with a possible (unconfirmed) Google Friday 13th algo update... I'm not seeing thousands more views on any of my HP profiles so far, anyway, but I would welcome such a thing. smile

Today, mine are the highest they've ever been. I'm thinking that may have to do with the 9/13 algo update. https://www.seroundtable.com/google-sea … 28226.html

Lucky you! My traffic is still very low, even though I try to optimize my articles.

I'll keep at it and hopefully, things improve.

I wish my traffic was up. It seems to barely hover above zero at the moment.

Keep on going. Write more articles. You have a good writing style and your articles deserve to be read.

I envy you. I don't get a lot of traffic to my articles plus I'm currently having writers block. My earnings are really low.
