I was wondering what effects our CPM and if there is anything we can do to influence the figure? Mine has dropped by half this month.

CPM is so complex - I don't think anyone out there has definitive answers as to how to influence the rate. Imagine if someone did know the secret but kept it to themselves.

There are people who have definitive answers on how to influence the rate. And yes, they keep that secret to themselves.

They get there through a lot of hard work and trial and error. HP is actually one of them.

      1. Google Ads, SEMrush and other tools offer estimates on the value of certain keywords. Use them to see how to re-write your articles to attract better-paying ads. Start with a search on the phrase "keyword tool" on your favorite search engine.

      2. Use the same tools to attract more visitors to your articles. Even if you don't increase the CPM, you will increase your total revenue from a higher volume of traffic.

Thank you. I have been thinking of editing my older hubs so I can also incorporate your tips.

You can write about subjects that you know nothing about that have a higher payment. Acne and mesothelioma lawyers (a few years ago, not sure about now) are options. The thing is that those keywords are actively searched by scammers and there is very high competition. I have not looked this subject up for years but I think you can stll find those numbers on Google trends.
Not much help, right? CPMs are low for all of us this month. Your articles are interesting since you know what you are talking about. If your traffic is also down a lot, it may be because of Google putting YMYL penalties on remedygrove. It may help to write on other niches too.

That makes a lot of sense as I have many articles on Remedy Grove. Quite a few very suppose to be being moved to Exemplore but that hasn't happened yet. Thank you and I will do some research into YMYL and see if I can do anything to help in that area.

You can request that your articles be moved to Exemplore.  One article can be submitted every two weeks to the niche sites.  I'm not sure that waiting around for the staff to move your articles is a good strategy.

Thank you. I know that I can submit sites but can I use the same process to swap which site they have been placed on?

To be honest, I don't know the answer to that.  You can email the editors and ask them how to go about it:  editor@hubpages.com

Try again, make it editors@hubpages.com with the plural. Worth a shot. smile

I am not sure of the process either but to start I would recommend you ask them to move "Crystals for the sign of sagittarius". It has nothing to do with remedygrove that I can see, and I think traffic would be better on exemplore.

I agree and I have several others that are not relevant to Remedy Grove but have been placed there. I will contact HubPages as I was told that they would be moved to Exemplore but haven't. Thank you.
