I've been on hubpages for about 2 months, so I'm still learning the ropes. I submitted an article for consideration to spinditty two weeks ago and I haven't got any response. I really thought the article was great and free from unnecessary grammatical errors. I would like to know if it takes that long to get accepted by a network site.
You will have to wait for someone who has hubs moved there recently to answer this specifically. But it is not uncommon for it to take around 2 weeks. Different niche sites have different queue lengths.
As long as you have not received a rejection email (check your spam folder too) you are still in consideration. I also believe that you cannot submit a hub if it is already submitted and in the queue, so you could try that too.
Thanks a lot for the advice. I'll wait for another week.
No problem. After that if you still hear nothing you could contact team@hubpages.com
My most recent one took FOUR weeks. I always allow a month before I enquire.
Wow thats quite long. Thanks for the heads up though
I've take note of the on-going communication. And I am on the process of writing an article probably for DenGarden. Now, my question is this: do I write the story on hubpages' site and submitted same to DenGarden site? Or Do I write it on the later? Many thanks indeed.

You can't write on DenGarden. You write on HubPages, then wait to see if the DenGarden editor thinks your article is good enough.
If your article is not selected, then you should try to improve it and then submit it for consideration again. Articles which stay on HubPages do not make much money.
Then how come Fawaz Akintunde said he "submitted" his to the network site? Does he meant after it was featured? I consider this thread very vital. My last article about 2700 words early last week was featured. Could I upload same to net work site? Much thanks again.
No, you can't upload it, Miebakagh. All newly published and featured articles are considered for the network sites by the editors. If they don't select it within about 30 days, it's unlikely that they will accept it at all.
You can manually submit older articles by clicking on 'Submit to a Network Site' at the top of the article. They have to be written in near perfect English.

Bev, okay and welcome to discuss the trending thread. Let's say I rewrite an old unfeatured or featured hub. Can that be okay? Thanks.
I manually submit all of my new articles too, as soon as the article is featured. Why not? I do not know if it speeds things up but does at least make the staff take a look at the article closely.
Das seems to have taken a real disliking to you. Congratulations.
I'm happy with that. I just report every single one of his posts, his profile, and any crappy 'article' he publishes. I suggest everyone does the same
I also asked HP to look into banning his ISP. If not,he just keeps coming back.
Bev, I post a comment to the effect that HP should look into the issue. I also post a discussion thread in the forum. I am yet to see any comment(s) on the thread.
Nice. I did that too, we'll know in a few days if they do it.
Does that work if he is using a VPN? I have never used that technology so am not sure if it will cover up something like that.
It won't. But it's just a little more work for him to go through.
I reported within 10 mins of all those crazy posts this morning. I reported his profile and I suggested they ban his IP.
Manually submitting your new articles is pointless. Immediately an article is featured, it's placed in the editor's queue for consideration.
If you then submit it manually too, you've just placed it in the same queue again, further down the line. All it achieves is to make the editor's queue longer
Miebakagh57. If your article is featured then you can submit it to a network site for consideration. If it isn't, you can't. The editors at the network site would take a look at your work and determine if it meets their requirements.
Fawaz, of a truth it is actually featured. I think I would take a hit at it later. Are they any requirement presently?
The requirements for the network site would be shown to you when you are about to submit it for consideration. You can check them out there

I submitted 4 articles to network sites during the last two months including the latest one. I wonder how long should I wait for getting them approved. I hope the queue won't take more than 2 months to access my submissions. Am I wrong?

Hey everyone!I wrote an article 4 months ago, and submitted it to LetterPile. It's been pending since then. I've submitted to niche sites before but they seemed to accept or reject them within 1 to 2 weeks. Is this normal or is there some other problem? This is the article I...

I submitted an article nearly 5 weeks ago after an editor requested that it be edited. Should it take this long to be submitted to a Niche site, or if it is no longer considered, is a notification issued?

How long does it take to start earning once the ads show up i.e after 5 of your articles are featured)?
