Let's assume that you would get food, clothes, a place to rest, etc for free. It is secured. Let's assume that someone is funding your effort. You will get food and other things in constant supply, but the person wishes that you circumvent the world by merely walking. Could you do it? Let's assume that you walked nonstop for 10 years, even 20 years.

You obviously can not walk upon the ocean, that's true. Let's assume that your sponsor is giving you tickets to cruise ship.

All in all: Could you really do it? Is it doable?

Did you mean circumnavigate, not circumvent? Yes, you could. If you're asking me specifically, could and would do it.

Thank you for the necessary correction. smile Yes, I wanted to mean circumnavigate.

Yes, that is doable, in my opinion. I believe I am capable of doing this task. Traveling is something I enjoy. There's a risk I'll die. LoL. But, really, who comes here to live forever?

As always, I must say that you have a keen and studious mind.

When you say studious, I get the impression you're calling me a nerd. I'm not, but I know someone who is. I believe I am totally opposite. smile By the way, I may not like the cruise ship. Is it possible for me to get a normal motorboat? It makes no difference to me if the speed is slow. neutral

Personally, I would not attempt this as a woman. The only thing I find men dominated is physical power and men are 20,% larger. Buses would be more dangerous than wild animals. The human male kind is the most dangerous creature on the planet. God has to be a man, because nobody else can screw up this planet greater.

You would be not allow to travel to every country with a weapon. I've fought Three mugger men and another time 40 monkeys over my food by hand to hand combat. Because I am a world class fighter and survived, very few men could achieve. I know of too many women have been killed trying to hitch hike around the world. Men have the much greater killer instinct

I said I wouldn't attempt it, too risky.
Besides I am the worst terrorist in the world ever being an I'm unvaccined person. Could of easily done it before covid, our freedoms have been greatly destroyed. Broken 25 world records in the pass of other kinds, know how to strategized well.

If they Shipped by sea across most of the way by water. I could walk it within four year. Since have traveled around the world several times, I know the route I would take. With sponsorship and donations I would use them to promote tiny house community and urban farming. Would need to plan it every step of the way. Can bring travel condensed food and drink water along the way. Bring hammock and condensed space blanket. I am sure I would get laid along the way because I would be famous. Sleep, food and water 3 most important. Oh yes, I know martial arts too.

First, what does walking/circumventing the world mean? Does it mean you have to traverse all seven continents? Or, does it mean start at the most southern tip of South Africa and wind up at the most southern tip of South America?

To do the latter there are only two spans of water to be traversed neither requiring a cruise ship. One is the Straight of Gibraltar, which is only nine miles. The other is a span of water of fifty-five miles separating Alaska from Russia, which does at times freeze over making it possible to trek. If one wanted they could step foot in all continents except two; Antarctica and Australia/Oceania.

Of course insert disclaimer here it is to the best of my knowledge and research.

For interest below is an article of who is given credit for the feat some who are Guinness world record holders.

The earth is approximately 24,000 miles around.  Choose what you like for cruise ship speeds, and whatever sounds reasonable for a walking speed.  Calculate the length of time.

I could not walk all the way around the globe. Maybe scientists could create a robot which could move in some manner and travel the complete distance. It would be cool if it could be a human-like robot. Of course, the robot would be followed by technicians, film crews and protected by volunteer guardians from the countries it travels through.

    Call it Earth Walker.

I see no problem walking for 4 years, if it's just around the world. A solar robot that would trail along with me,  could be cool carrying water and protection. Like a shooting eclectic gun shock towards dangerous invadtors . Can be done, easily if a wealthy technology giant sponsor it.
