I have saved all my hubs that I want to keep to pdf. Trouble is, when I look at them they have all come out really narrow! EEK! Yeah joking apart, I tried to convert to Word, and it still came out skinny. When I widen them the words fadec. Unless anyone is a genius, I have lost them all. How do I mend this? Thanks!

I did a little bit of research and it's possibly due to PDFs converting soft returns (word wraps) to hard returns in the files. They also converts shift-enters (known as "manual breaks"), that you may have used to create a new line with the same spacing as preceding lines, rather than using hard returns, created by typing "enter", which create a new paragraph. So you'd have to remove those hard returns using "delete" at the end of lines I would think, if they aren't genuine ones. Or you could manually files in an editor and remove the characters. Another option is to use a utility.
One solution is to open the PDF in Word, rather than copying and pasting. That may work.
Did you switch to "Reader view" in Hubpages before saving/printing to PDF? That may have been where the narrow-view word wraps originated. Also when you say "narrow", I presume you don't mean the default view in Adobe Reader which is very narrow.

Hi, sorry I missed this. Yes I opened in reader view. I'll give it a try and hopefully manage to save some of them, thank you!

I just looked at iLovePDF (.com); it is very interesting. But I don't feel the need for it.
