As you maybe can guess by the title, this week's HubNuggets contest has a Hallowe'en theme.  Mostly because I won't be doing the hub closest to the 31st and I didn't want to miss out on it.  Yeah, go ahead and call me selfish.

Anyway, go see if you're in there!  While you're at it, check out the picture of BT as a human.

Congrats to all our Wannabes and best of luck.  Don't forget to promote those hubs like CRAZY!!

    Hi Shirley and the team

It's fantastic to have my article up there in the running - thank you.

What has got me just as excited is that it is my article on Specialised Kinesiology. This is a wonderful therapy that I love to share with others but my opportunities for that have been limited. Now I have the chance to promote it shamelessly!

I'm glad that I was  nominated because now I know what a hubnugget is. I read over the hubs and there are some very good hubs in the running. It should be interesting.
When I was first notified I thought it was a joke but eventually after clicking on the link about 3 times I realized it was for real. I would have a tough time saying which of the hubs I thought was the best so I wont feel bad if I don't get many votes, as long as my mother votes for me and maybe my wife. So as long as I get 2 votes I'll be happy, well my brother should vote for me if only so he can call me a hubnugget (he'd probably like that) so if I get 3 votes I'll be happy but then my cousin should vote for me...... I'm sure you've heard this dialog b-4. Actually I told my friends and relatives to read the hubs over and vote for the one they thought was best, so I have no idea how they will vote if they stop by. I'm still thinking about who I'll vote for.

Noboby is talking here. Well My favorites are way ahead. so I agree with the way things are going. It is too bad you can only pick 1 however because some aren't getting any votes, but they are good hubs. Its hard to get as moving as the Last Drunk, though. Every one has their own opinion but that one kind of gets to me.

Wow! What an honor to be nominated by Hubnuggets this week! I've only been posting hubs for a month, yet I've discovered, purely by accident that contributing to Hubpages can be an uplifting personal experience. Not only do I get to express myself in any way I choose, but I experience the pure joy of writing from the soul without the "holier than thou" corrections of an editor:) I've experienced the joy of recognition and support from my peers, along with the opportunity to connect with my fellow earthlings. Thanks for your vote!

Sorry guys, I'm out of town and have been extremely busy, so haven't been here a lot.

You guys are all awesome!  Thanks for supporting our new hubbers so fantastically.

HP attracts such talented new authors that it's a real pleasure to spotlight them as much as possible.

And yes, Green Lotus, I agree with you that HP is a writer's dream.  smile

Very best of luck to all of the Wannabes!  Don't forget to promote your hubs.

GreenMathDr, please don't worry about vote distribution.  Sometimes, we get a rush of last minute voters, so there's still a chance for people to raise their percentages.  A low vote count can also be from a hubber not promoting themselves.

    Thank-you, fellow hubbers!

Promoting yourself isn't necessarily easy. It took me 4 days to convince my mother I wasn't playing a joke on her.

Well the internet is some what new to her and lets face it hubnugget does sound a bit like I might be pulling her leg. She was a professional astrologer, a field she learned at 40 or so. I had to teach her the math using loaves of bread and bottles of milk. So she is interesting.

    We have a situation, hubbers!!

The team has the official word on this week's HubNuggets winners.  That's the good news.

The bad news is that the top 2 winners have had...ummm....mishaps.

Here's what we know for sure:

HubNugget 3: Specialized Kinesiology: Let Your Body Heal You (14%)
HubNugget 4: Do You Believe in doG? A Story of Adult Dyslexia (11%)
HubNugget 5: Test Your Psychic Abilities – On-line games from the Institute of Noetic Sciences (7%)

Congratulations to all of our Wannabes and Winners this week!

So, what exactly happened to winners number 1 and 2?  In a word - pirates.  That's right, pirates.

If you want to find out the fate (and names) of that unfortunate pair, sign up for a voyage on the HMS Nuggeteer.

Thank you for the team for being so vigilant and upholding the name of Hub Pages. I'm sure many are very appreciative of your efforts.

I feel honored to have been part of this and to be a HubNugget winner. Congratulations to the others too!

I have to say thanks too, to all team members for running a tight ship smile. The internet is a vast sea of temptation when it comes the "P" word so I understand how this can occur, especially after an author has put in the energy to "research" a topic.

Anyway, thank you for selecting me as a Hubnugget participant and thanks to everyone for supporting my win! Congratulations to all the approved participants and to my fellow winners. I loved reading all your hubs.

    GL
