    Hi to everyone,

I love babies/kids and everything to do with them. I want to have about 4 myself but I am being smart and wont have one until I finish my college and have a house and a steady good income.

But it still doesn't change the fact that I adore these little creatures to death, and my favorite part of this all is the pregnancy (don't ask me why, I am wierd) and the first months of the baby, the first words, steps, etc.

So, if anyone knows of a place where I can read so called "pregnancy blogs, diaries, etc.".
Would that person please post the links to me. smile

I am also thinking about something to do with this will be my profession, but, I just don't know what (Help, if anyone has ideas). I am rather experienced with babies, having 2 younger sibling, took/taking care of my 2 young cousins and right now helping a lot with my little baby cousin (6 months old now).
I am always the "aunty" called when people need a babysitter.
I am also a godmother to a beautiful 3 and a 1/2 months old baby girl. Which I don't see a lot right now.

I am only 18 and I have my whole life left to have babies, so, belive me, I will wait atleast 4 years to have one. But, I would still love reading about it. I have found a lot myself on the internet, but thought it wouldn't hurt asking here. smile

So, to sum it all up....

    Profession including babies !?!?!
    Baby/pregnancy diaries, blogs, etc. !?!?!

My friend with children loves the site cafemom.com and highly recommends it.  It is like myspace for moms and many people keep blogs on there.  On cafemom there is also a forum where people share their baby experiences, but I have never used this site, I just know my friend is on there quite a bit.  Another friend is a day-care worker and a yard duty, which are two of the most child intensive fields.  Most school districts are always hiring for yard duty and substitute yard duty positions, which would be a great way to discover if you are interested in this field.  My friend really loves being a yard duty because this position requires constant interaction with children of many different ages.  Community colleges are another great resource because you can always take an introductory course in child development and learn more about careers in this field.  Also, I recommend the book What To Expect When You Are Expecting if you want just learn more about women and child birth.  This book is a great basic that my sister referred to it during both her pregnancies and afterwards.  Good luck in your search for more information smile.
