    Hello there ,
I just joined this site and made my first hub.
Ill really appreciate if i can get your opinions on my point of view.
My hub is about the top 3 surprising and disappointing teams in the Nba 09-10 season so far.

      Hi Robert,

Welcome to hubpages first of all. I had a look at your hub and just found the picture at courtside in large format.

There was no text at all. Go into edit mode and see if you can view in browser to see if it shows.Otherwise resave your draft by opening teh text box and click on recover draft at the bottom.

Good information.  Tip - don't start your Hub with a big picture, because some readers won't bother scrolling down to read the rest.

The prime spot for an ad is the top right hand corner so it's best to split your text up over several capsules and make your first capsule big enough to trigger an Adsense ad there (if you're signed up) or put an eBay or Amazon ad there.

    Hey Robert smile

As a first hub, it does the job quite nicely. There's room for improvement on it (in terms of SEO) but as it is, a good first effort.

You can easliy learm more about SEO, should you choose to and there's plenty of info around the site that will help you educate yourself.

And if you're writing purely for pleasure, then there's not a lot wrong with your current style.

Happy habbing and welcome to HubPages big_smile

The main reason why i made an account here is so i can improve my writing and so i can use this site as a reference point when i apply at suite101.

Quick question: How can i set it up so i can get payed? Now don't get me wrong , im not doing this for the money , but a little extra money wont hurt me either wink

You have asked an FAQ ... but I'm in a good mood so I'll answer. You need accounts with several affiliates: Adsense, Amazon, Ebay and/or Kontera.

That's as much as I need to say - because I will only be repeating what you can find here.

Read and enjoy - it's easy enough to understand and will not only explain but lead onto how to become an affiliate.

And nope - there's nothing wrong with earning money, so go for it smile
