I have just posted my first hub - and then applied for my adsense - which is still under review.
What I find amusing is that my hub is about something quite serious - heart attacks - yet adsense have posted temporary ads until I am accepted - of dating agencies, and Indian Sex !!!
I guess the healthy heart tips are gone out of the window now !!!!
Every hub takes at least 24 hours to accurately place ads by google
Welcome to Hubpages! Congratulations on writing your first hub. Be patient. This also was surprising for me, but over time the ads reflected the seriousness of my health hubs. Keep writing.
Just worry about the writing and let googy worry about the adsense. Unfortunately it is what it is. I write a lot of poetry and the adsense is really wacky and all over the board.
Welcome to HB!
Welcome to hubpages.
I find that it takes awhile for adsense to figure out the content of a hub when it is first published.
You should see relevant ads soon.
Welcome to Hubpages and congrats on writing your first hub.
It takes times for your hub to get indexed anyways. And, at the present point in time, the only people who will be traveling to your hub, would be other hubbers, to check out what you published.
Welcome to HubPages!
Should you like your hub critiqued, then I would suggest a visit to the Extreme Hub Makeover forum and post your link, so other can give you helpful advice. There plenty of people who like to critique other people hubs, because they want you to do well.
I do hope you enjoy your time here.
Welcome to HP and good to see that you have a sense of reality/humour
Thank you for all your help and comments. I will certainly checkout the Extreme Hub Makeover forum. :-)

Just gaging anyone else's earnings here. I just checked google adsense and I have earned 64 dollars in 18 months. I've only written 19 Hubs and most of them don't get any traffic. Any thoughts?
