"Comments you made" tool question

I was not really active in the community from the beginning, but recently I started to explore the territory - and to leave some comments.

Now, I needed a tool to follow up on those comments, and "comments you made" in "my account" became really handy. However, it does not work right for me - or I just don't understand how it is supposed to work.

My understanding was that it should show how many comments were left on a particular hub in the last 4 and 24 hours in the corresponding column. But it does not work this way. In fact I can't figure out its logic at all.

For example, I left a comment on one of the hubs two days ago. Checking it in "comments you made" today, I see "1" both in 4 and 24 hours column, and when I go to check the actual hub, there are no comments after mine...

Could somebody kindly enlighten me on this issue?

    Thanks, Misha

What it is saying to you is that you have made 1 comment which fits in the 4 hour category, but that 1 comment has also been made in the 24 hour category.

It's like saying, well I made five bucks in the last 4 hours.  If that five bucks is all you've made all week, then you can also say "Well, I've made five bucks this week."

In the end, you're talking about the same five bucks... or in your case, the same comment.

At least, that's how I have come to understand the system.

    Thanks Gamegirl smile

It's not exactly what I was asking. Please note, that I made comment on this hub TWO DAYS AGO. And nobody commented on it since. Not within 4 hours, and not within 24...

With the growth of HubPages we've had a little trouble keeping the 4 hour and 24 hour comment summaries up to date for all hubs.  I just made a small adjustment to our processing that should help a lot, but Hubtivity is another good way to keep up with your comments.  Just make sure under preferences you have, "on hubs that you commented on" checked.

    Yeah Paul,

Looks like problem is solved, it shows current status for me now. And thanks for hubtivity tip - I did not know I can use it this way...

    Thanks, Misha
