I believe I got someone banned

    By misconception of the converstation, is there any way to get him unbanned as I am aware now that it was not a personal attack as I though?? PLEASE HELP.

        If you are concerned about an issue like this then you really should consider emailing Admin rather than posting it at this stage.  The advice you got from your Grandma was to help you weigh up your options before you jump (so you don't feel bad after you break your neck yikes)

        As Jason has stated; there was another reason for the event. But if (as Crazed has said) it isn't the same party; then email Jas with your concerns directly - rather than posting. (Then you won't feel so bad and you don't increase the problem for the other party).

    He was banned for Hub self-promotion, which he continued to do despite us snipping a link and warning him not to.

    To be clear: no one can "get" someone else banned. The most you can do is flag something so one of us moderators can take a look. If we don't agree with your flagging, nothing is done. If we do agree and the usual penalty is banning, then we would have done the same if anyone else had flagged the violation.

    When in doubt, flag, but first consult the forum rules to see if the behavior is one we consider a violation.
