Come and see why Jesus said, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy..." The full commentary will be posted in segments starting in June.

Everyone is aware it is July right?  tongue

Something special happen in June?  I wanna know.  Did someone discover the bible?  Does someone have something important to say?  Does someone need to be acknowledged as enlightened or a prophet?

Is it about the earthquakes and plane crashes and tornados and hurricanes and floods and famine?  Black gold, Texas tea?

Is this going to be a thread about the end of the world?  That would be something huh?   The end of the world I mean.  LOL.

I know what's gonna happen.  The world will slowly die away, and no one knows when or where the last place left on Earth will be, so don't go running there?

I wonder if maybe statistically speaking, at any given time if everyone just split up and ran somewhere,  what are the chances that 144000 people would end up in just the right place?

That would be what...144000/1.  or maybe that is almost 7 billion to 1, no wait what if it's 1/1 chance you will be in the exact right place at the right time.

I wonder what would be the last thing to fall?  What if it is some remote cliff hanging off the end of the world?

Do you think it would be a person?  Why a person, not an ant or a cockroach or beetle?  Why not a horse or a mosquito or a dandilion?

    Anyone?

So many questions - highly entertaining post smile
But - can a mosquito fall? How would you know?

The last thing left standing will be a Sewer Gas Destructor Lamp designed by Joseph Webb, Engineer.

Well you see, the mosquito would be hanging out in the Sewer Gas Destructor Lamp designed by Webb but it get's it's wings burnt off and falls on top of the last video camera working and then another billion years later someone discovers it.

        smile

LOL!!! Oh come on, don't you know that the world ended at the beginning new millenium, with 6/6/2006,  and the list goes on. And yes, something really interesting did happen in June...well, I can't remember what I did that was so interesting...but I swear it was! And the only gold I know of is in my nose and absolutely useless...unless you're someone that buys nose goblins. Hey, that would be interesting! Maybe it would even bring about the end of the world! lol

Actually the end of the world starts December 23, 2012. That is the end of the Maya calendar. Theory getting very popular now,
a pole shift. The North Pole will shift over to Siberia or someplace. An aquaintance tried to get me to read the book,
'2012' by Daniel Pinchbeck just yesterday. Maybe I will, down the road a little ways.

'what happened to 12-21-2012?' I don't know I hadn't heard that one. Eleven pm on the 23rd is what I read. Poles shifts do occur
there is no doubt, because they leave imprints that are found all around. So it will happen again. However some say no one can say for sure when. Think the the Maya calandar thing and pole
shift have been hodgepodged together. Should make a lot of people a lot of money. Hell we can make it into a religion.

I've read that pole shifts occur in incredibly small increments. Is there any evidence saying that they can occur in larger increments? Also, I'm not sure what the big deal is, does a pole shift necessarily mean that the planet will rotate on a new axis? Other than disturbance with electrical equipment what can a pole shift really do?

    knolyourselfposted 15 years ago

'I'm not sure what the big deal is, does a pole shift necessarily mean that the planet will rotate on a new axis?' Yes. The big deal is that where you live could suddenly, say within a 24 hour
period, end up in the north pole. Best have some long johns.

Is there any evidence to support that a rapid change like that is coming?

    knolyourselfposted 15 years ago

Maybe there is and maybe there ain't. Depends on what you believe I suppose. Do your own research.
    Google 'pole shift+evidence'

Oh I did, I was just wondering if you could offer any insight. It seems that the rapid pole shift guys are a bit on the crackpot side. They could be legitimate for all I know, it's just hard to take them seriously when their theories are buttressed by ads for illuminati conspiracy books and stuff about aliens.

Omg, such stuff is the reason why crackpot conspiracy theorists belong in the "fiction" section, always.  For them, actual conspiracies based on evidence or reliable testimony are not what they are really interested in, they must get some sort of "emotional high" from continously spinning the yarn that makes up their simplistic sophistry.

It's been that way, sadly, for a long time now.  When will people stop taking things like the Necronomicon and guys like those in the "Illuminati" and things like the "Baphomet" and using them to con people into buying more books on topics related to their mindless mythologically based sophistry?

It will probably never end if people keep buying the materials.

These kinds of conspiracy "buffs" have little to no useful input when a real conspiracy like Enron occurs.

        Tsk tsk.

Hate to be a spoiler on this, but a 'pole shift' usually just means a movement (even a reversal) of the Magnetic Poles. The Magnetic North & South are always moving around and it doesn't affect anything much. The axis of rotation - true North & South - isn't about to change unless something BIG crashes into us or passes very close. And I mean big. Not just a twopenny-halfpenny comet.

    Sleep easy.

Come on guys its fun. I always learn stuff from new ideas, even if some are proposterous. Global warming was proposterous not so long ago. Still is for a lot people. The sun is now producing no sun spots. Check that one out.

    1. Paraglider profile image86
Paragliderposted 15 years agoin reply to this

Hang on a sec - global warming can affect Earth only. There is nothing we can do on Earth that can affect Sun spots. It's 93.000.000 miles away and all the traffic is one-way. (from the Sun).

I read recently a science perspetive that because of the increased sun activity in the recent past that is why we are having what people are calling global warming.

  10. knolyourself profile image61
    knolyourselfposted 15 years ago

The latest rationale for the denial of human created global warming is sun spot activity. No sun spot activity would mean a cooling of the planet. Assuming human caused global warming is true, and assuming the last time there was no sun spot activity was the 1500s, and a mini ice age, and assuming that
sun spot acitivity the last 500 years is normal, no sun spots would cool a human created global warming, giving us a grace period to clean up our act. How providential would that be?
A heavenly conspiricy or just celestial mechanics?

Actually, the Book of Revelations is pretty cool. And directly indicative of things as I perceive them. But it is the interpretation and the time frames that create the most problems for people.

If you really want someone to expound upon their position on prophecy or listen to your position, maligning and ridicule is not conducive to dialogue. Everyone could learn something, no one is perfect, minds and hearts can change with love and genuine attempts at understanding.
