Why everyday we are hearing news about infidelity??? Can't a man/woman spend thier whole life with a single partner??? Is it so difficult to live thier life with one who you loved the most???
its the media and the people catering to it, personal lives are put in the scrutiny always
I don't believe there is actually more infidelity in recent times. I think it has just more acceptable to report on it. Historically, people and newspapers would look the other way and "fooling around" wasn't deemed newsworthy. the only thing that has changed is what we deem newsworthy.
Why should someone spend a lifetime with a single partner? People may develop in different directions and find that what held them together previously no longer exists. Sometimes this does not become evident until they meet someone else.
I AGREE WITH YOU! THE PROBLEM IS I BELEIVED IN HAVING ONLY ONE PARTNER FOR MY WHOLE LIFE ACCORDING TO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. NOW IAM GETTING AN ANNULLMENT AND A NASTY DIVORCE. I ALSO HAVE THREE BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN.'

We humans love to kill boredom.
Kill one boredom to enter into another. Galactus saves all.
It's a shame these things happen, but with the information age, it is much easier ot find more perfect partners than who you are currently with. I hope it never happens to me, but who knows what the future holds.
I think it's hard to have just one partner for their whole life but that's the eventual goal for a lot of people.
The media feeds off of people's imperfections/insecurities/mistakes.
Infidelity is nothing new. Making it public is.
The media feeds it and 95% of us eat it up. It seems we,especially in the states love to hear of anothers misery. The higher they are the more we enjoy seeing them fall. Maybe it's base human nature?
I don't enjoy it. I am a therapist by profession and help people all the time.
Now I need help that's why I created this blog... To listen to what other people have to say!

Stormryder i agree with you completely not only in USA but in most parts of the world metality of the people have changed they enjoy seeing others in pain or suffering.......... like to see whats going on in someone else's house............... and as mentioned by pretty dark horse that these media house agencies and news channels are just catering to these peoples needs........
I for one am sick to death with infidelity stories... What happens in someone's personal life should remain their problem and not stuff my throat down with it.. I pay to recieve quality news not some news about some f**** rich prick who can't keep his ding dong in his pants...
You obviously don't understand Mental Illness.
Google a Profile of a Sociopath and you will know what I had to live with for 22 yrs.... A lot of pain and abuse... Also my three children endured a lot of abuse and the dog too!

Most relationships in love and marriage break up due primarily to boredom, which results in cooling of passions. It is difficult to 'enjoy' the same fare daily howsoever delicious it may be. This is, of course, not to deny other reasons for break-up.Desire for change is very human and...
