APPLE IPAD...just a bigger version of your apple iphone.

   Last month, while i was browsing the internet, i stumble upon this "weird" gdaget they called IPAD. What is this i told myself and when I zoom on it, there it was, the bigger version of iphone or ipod touch. I thoughgt it was beautiful, but then again it has no cover. It is exposed. what if I suddenly drop it? Is it made of hard material?

      You will be able to get silicone cases and cover for it, just like you have for the iPhone or the iPod Touch

   Its a really poor product when compared to others. It does not support flash, so half of the websites would look incomplete. No multi tasking is also a bummer.
   
   The Adam Tablet PC is FAR FAR better in terms of specifications at least, lets see how that is priced. Even the HP slate is a much better option and it has already been announced that it will be cheaper than the iPad.

   I've had an iPad for just about two weeks now, and I love it.  But it's not meant to be a phone, which is part of why it appealed to me.

   It's really a giant ipod touch, not a giant iphone.
   
   Not that there's anything wrong with that. While I personally don't want an ipad, I can definitely see the appeal. After all it already has lots of apps, and will get new ones. Since apps are controlled by apple, there's some guarantee of quality.
   
   It's friendly and easy to use for people who find real computers difficult.
   
   And it's tablet. Add in a stylus and a firmware update that allows the ipad to be used with a stylus and you could be looking at a drawing pad, mock DS (so loads of DS game ripoffs), maybe even use it as a grading tool for teachers who like to write grades in while walking around in a classroom.
   
   And the single unfoldable screen definitely gives a more book viewing style than, say, a netbook would so it's not too bad for ereading and ecomics.
   
   And with the stand accessory, it'd even make a nice enough mini web tv.
   
   The potential's there. Who cares if it's a giant iphone/ipad touch as long as there's enough software to make it a worthy experience? Seriously, add in stylus upgrades and a foldable keyboard and I'd consider getting it.

    So many people in my country using an iPad just for gaming, kids really enjoy playing using iPad since it's touch screen.
