How long does this last for?

      TOS = Terms of Service.

If it's further discussion from other threads you've made, your account has been shut down for a "TOS violation". No one would say that you've been shut down for a "TOS".

How long does a ban from Google's Adsense Program last for?

      Forever.

Once you've agreed to or accepted an organization's terms of service, they are in effect.

And just in case anyone is unclear (or in denial about how the TOS work), it's your responsibility to read and understand any and all terms before you indicate that you will accept the TOS.  Because failure to understand does not absolve you of your responsibilities in regards to the terms in action, or any repercussions that might result from a violation.

And yet you've started another thread dedicated to you bitching about adsense.

Is that all you do is complain when things do not go your way? Or is that you simply refuse to understand that the mistake was actually yours for the blame?

Either way, this isn't productive and apparently, you are fault for not accurately reading the TOS of adsense to begin with.

Had you read it, not interpret it, then you would have known that you discussing your ways of earning with others, could lead to consequences, such as the termination of your adsense account.

This is all I'm going to say on the topic. The fault is yours, not someone else. Do try and have a good day. smile big_smile

          cag,

I see I shall have to spell things out for you very carefully. This is NOT like anything else I have posted. Since ad-sense would not answer any correspondence I sent, I came here for an answer to a question I have never asked.

That being; can I be reinstated? Your comment about bitching is not exactly pleasing to me. Have I ever insulted you? If you don't like what I say; why respond. Silence is a virtue, you should try it some time.

Yes Harvey, and this has been discussed several times on various threads.

Once you've banned from Adsense, it's forever. You are right, they won't listen to explanations.  Their view is - ignorance is no excuse.  So you just need to get over it, there's nothing you can do.

As others have told you, there are other ways to make money online.  Stop wasting time bitching about what you can't change, and get on with investigating new options.

He got that status cause he's banned for invalid clicks. We're not aware of your case. Maybe your application got denied when you applied (?) from affiliate settings. [i'm not sure about you]

I believe Squidoo might be an option for you Harvey. If I'm reading their Payment FAQ properly everything goes into their account and then is divided up and sent out via PayPal. So you earn on their account - not yours.

But certainly read their TOS and rules again - don't go by me. I keep thinking I'm going to build lenses and never get to it.

I joined Squidoo a while back and produced just one lens.  Haven't been back since, because I found the site to be unbelievably S-L-O-W.

Harvey I am sorry this is happening to you. I really do not know what to say about it as you have been offered some very good advice from others. While it may seem wrong to you I am sure that Google did not get as far as they have without understanding exactly what they can and cannot do. I am sure that if they are doing it it is legal.

Harvey, how's the discussions going with your lawyer? You going to go for the class action? Because Google has heard your explanation and I guess their non-response means that no further discussion will be entered into nor will they be changing their mind.

Sorry to hear about your ill health Harvey. Organising a lawsuit is hard enough for someone who's feeling in a fit and fine condition.

The Google Adsense Team don't give second chances. They have hundreds of thousands of Publishers and who knows how many thousands apply each day, so losing a few hundred every day would be of small concern to them.

I'd be doing as Marisa suggests and investigate new options. Squidoo has a different feel to it, and may feel difficult at first for a long time hubber, but once you get used to it it's almost as easy as publishing a hub.
