Has hubpages stopped updating the 'ideabank' section? One of my highest traffic hubs was one I got the idea for from the ideabank page, but it doesn't seem to have been updated with any new suggestions for months.

Good question I have seen it asked a few times but I do not think I have ever seen a reply from the staff. I would like to know this myself.

Best thing to do is add onto that 'traffic' Hub wink write related Hub and link them together smile

Dame that is one of the best ideas I have read. My Hub traffic went up when I started linking to my other hubs. As long as the hub has something in common with your other hubs link them.

When I have a favorite idea or topic I use the Google Wheel for more inspiration. Just google the phrase or keyword. You'll see a plus sign with the phrase More options beside it. click on it and you'll find The Google Wheel. It's really awesome.

Never mind.  I found it on my husband's screen.  Not showing up on mine.

And it's actually called the Wonder Wheel - sometimes it shows up and sometimes it does't. I just had trouble finding it again.

That wheel's a lot of fun.

Once you click "Wonder Wheel" under "Show options", it disappears from the options list. So, to use it again, just click "Web" (At the top of the page, here: Web > your search term > Hide options) to get the wheel back for a new search.

That is a good question, I was wondering the same thing. One of my best traffic hubs came from the idea bank too.

demandstudios.com is rich with titles based on keyword searches. If you write there, you know what I mean.

I, also, would like to see the idea bank here expanded. It started out as a great idea, but it has become stagnant.

I guess updating it and keeping it fresh would become a responsibility in an HP staffer's job description, and I think it would be well worth the effort.

Using the Google Wonder Wheel is completely free! and as you can see you can actually make money using it. Or as they say – “The best things in life are free”
