Hi all. I decided to use my "contest hub" to play around with adding more keywords into my hub. This is the first time I've really done this- up until now, I've just written what I felt, and not worried too much about keyword content. I do this for fun and self fulfillment, so I'm not too worried about traffic; however, I would like people to actually FIND my articles if they would be helpful.
I'm concerned that, with the attempted use of keywords, my hub has become a little convoluted and doesn't have the same flow I usually look for. I've been staring at it way too long to make an objective call... A fresh set of eyes and any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks so much.

I think it is quite good, and an important subject that people need to inform themselves about.
I would suggest that you split up some of your long paragraphs for the sake of readability. Other than that (and even with that) I think you have done well.
Thank you so much! I will look into splitting the paragraphs... I agree it might look less "cluttered" that way.
Hello, Thoughtful.
You want your hubs to read fast. This will keep folks reading until the end and coming back for more. Break up text with videos and other capsules.
Use bullets to list interesting facts. It really works.
Images and video do not have to be tucked to one side. A full screen video will work well in a longer hub.
Don't be afraid to include the "in the news" capsule. It works well at the end of a hub, just before the comments section.
Polls are nice.
Mix Adsense and Amazon capsules throughout. This also breaks up any chunkiness longer sections of text can create.
You have good content. You will do great. Keep writing.
Thank you. I haven't played at all with the "In the News" capsule. I'll check it out. Honestly, my time to write is so limited, that I try to focus on the writing rather than the images and videos... Its something I hope to grow into.

One thing that I've noticed in my traffic stats is that one particular hub about a particular acoustic guitar - seems to be doing better than other hubs about what I would think would be guitars that are more sought after. So I looked at the hub that is doing so well, and tried to figure out why...

I seem to have come to HP just before all the changes. I have put in almost F/T hours on the days I write my hubs. I've read whole books, not only the ones I review, but for material for my hubs. I think what I write is well written and informative. I kept hoping as I got more readers, the money...

I've been updating and removing hubs. I haven't settled on a plan for good hubs that don't get traffic. Curious what others do. My top 40 hubs are 85% of traffic. I culled the heard and have been focused on my best hubs.Once I'm through them I'll come up with a plan for the rest.

My daily earnings have dropped drastically -- WHY? Is it because HP has pulled ads on my hubs due to the "unfeatured" hubs, which are mostly poems? Are poems not worthy of being featured and getting daily earnings? And WHY does HP decide what should or should not be featured?...

I'm about to lose my cool. I wrote a forum post about this earlier and then withdrew it because I felt that maybe there were some improvements I could make to my hub. I tweaked and re-published, then went through the quality assessment process again. It took all day, but the hub is now published,...

How long should one wait before declaring a hub dead traffic-wise and deleting/moving it?This is premised on the assumption that the thing has already been tweaked and updated to death.1 year?2 years?3 years?4 years?5 years?I'm curious as to how many answers would be the same as my current best...
