Breaking the silence

   The glass I walk upon, are little stars broken into millions of pieces. There, laid out like a blanket on the floor, they rest in front of me. With each step I take, more and more gather underneath my bare feet. My blood turns to ash; each trickle. Nothing to grab onto and no where to go. The sound of  time ticks softly in the warm breeze that sweeps past my face. My tears turn to blood but im glowing my joy.
   But I cant help this fearless smile. The pain that was once sharp and agonizing is now soothing and nurturing…. There I will make my journey through the stars…..
