      Hello MsDora!
Accepting the demise of a loved one is harsh and so difficult. We all know that the journey of life has to end one day, but it’s so difficult to come to terms with it.
You have made some helpful points to come out of the grief of loss of a dear one, that too a parent. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thank you Rosina, for sharing this in the forum.
Happy week ahead to both of you.

MsDora, this is a sad, but helpful article for anyone dealing with the death of a parent. I have been through it and the grieving process takes time. You often think “why didn’t I do this,” or “why didn’t I say that.”
    Thank you for sharing, Rosina.

Thank you, Rosina, for sharing the article; and thanks to all the other wonderful supporters for your encouraging comments. Your articles have been very helpful to me too, in various areas, and I mean that sincerely. If this article offers solace to anyone who is currently experiencing grief, I would be happy. Also, Mike Tucker's book, "Tears to Joy" is a worthy read.

Thank you so much for writing this article, Ms. Dora. It's heartbreaking to see a loved one go, knowing they'll never return. A really touching and sad article, but as everyone has said, it is also very helpful. I, too, have lost loved ones this year, so I understand your pain. May God continue to bless you abundantly. Ameen!
Sending you hugs, love and kisses!

Dora, this is a beautiful tribute to your mother.  I also held my mother's hand as she peacefully slipped into the next life.  That was 12 years ago.  We all grieve in different ways.  Thanks for sharing what has helped you through that process. Her plants still bring beauty and joy to your life and others.  That is lovely.

Thanks Rosina for sharing Dora's article.

A nice article, Ms. Dora. We all, at some point of time go through such losses in life. You have described your experiences so well that anyone / everyone would be able to relate to them. This is a very good review for the book - Tears of Joy.
Thanks to you and to Rosina, for sharing it in the forum.

    Ms. Dora,
I hope Mike Tucker sees this article for it is a wonderful introduction for his book, "Tears to Joy."

    This part really speaks volumes...

"We have reaped the benefit of grief when our conversation and memories about our loved one conjure up smiles instead of tears."

For me, there are times those memories bring lots of smiles, but there are also moments with lots of tears.

Tears of joy, tears of sadness, tears wishing I could turn back time and say or do things a bit differently, but mostly the tears come when I realize he's no longer here.

Our memories bring me joy, but that moment he took his last breath plays over & over in my mind.

We shared every single day together, so each day I think I'll see him in the room.

This sounds like a great book to read.

Tears are part of the process.  I think there are times innlife we embrace a good cry & it makes us feel better.

Hi Brenda. Everyone grieves differently and Tucker suggests that we take our time. Yes, I recommend his book, because it is so practical and helpful. I thought that it met the requirements for an Amazon link, but HP doesn't think so.

Anyway, the author also says that grief does not really end. We just learn to manage it better. So take heart. The tears will eventually get less, but its your prerogative to entertain them as long as you want. Just as long as you keep moving forward--at your pace. Love and Blessings!

        Thank you Ms. Dora.
        You are so very kind.

As for HP...I'd say put it back on your article with a description of how this book helped you.

You've mentioned it in your article so it should meet the requirements.

They've done that to me before and told me I could put it back on with a new description and it might work.
Contact team and ask them why they took it off.

        Have a great day.

I think it's great that you continue your wonderful flowers.
