Any one out there with some Irish connections? What are you doing on the 17th of this month. It would be nice to know how you celebrate Saint Patrick's day.

I'll be out with my fiance finding some Green Beer. I have to have it because it saved my life once... Strange but true, Oct. 17th, 1989 I was on a weekend pass with some Army buddies and we were headed to San Francisco. Around 3pm that day we passed a pizza pub that had a sign out saying they were giving away all their remaining Green Beer...lol it was 7 month since St. Patricks day but we didn't care we weren't going to pass up free beer.  We ate and had all the beer we could handle and wanted to get a move on since we were about 2 hours away from San Fran.  We hadn't realized we were there for almost 2 hours until THE QUAKE hit. We felt it where we were, and watched it live on TV during the World Series pregame warmup. Then we seen what had happened to the Bay Bridge.  We concluded that if we hadn't stopped for Green Beer (meant for St. Patrick's Day) we could have been on that bridge.  So, Green Beer saved our lives. Gotta have it every year.
