I haven't been able to check or update my hubs for 2 weeks due to some family matters that have come up. And, I probably won't be back again for a while.
A while back I post about my brothers illness. He found out a few weeks ago that he had brain tumors. Well, I drove him all the way to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a checkup and consultation, and the doctor told him it was nothing to worry about. Well, a week later he was in intensive care after a series of seizures.
He was in the hospital for a week, and, I was there visiting him every day, he was released on Monday, and I spent the whole week at his house to supervise him, even though he lives with my mother. Unfortunately she is up near 80 years old, and can't help him if he falls.
So, this coming Monday, I get to drive him four hours back to Ann Arbor for another consult, and his third or fourth MRI. He may end up having brain surgery to remove tumors in his brain. So, this whole hubpages thing has to be put on hold until he gets better. Not fun at all.
On a better note I received around $7,000.00 in back unemployment, and won $1,000.00 at the Casino in Battle Creek.
So it hasn't been all bad.
Hope all is well with everyone.
I am sorry to hear about your brother. I hope that good news comes soon. My thoughts are with your whole family as this has to be a most difficult time.
I will keep you in my thoughts too, Your brother is fortunate to have a very caring brother like you, Holly
I wish you bro gets well soon and you be back here. My best wishes to you and your family!
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. He is doing a lot better, but, the VA has been very vague about what they are going to do with him. We drove down to Ann Arbor a couple days ago, which is a 4 hour drive, waited for 2 hours to see the doctor, and he only spent 2 minutes telling my brother that his care was going to passed off to another doctor, and sent us home.
Talk about being extremely pissed.
That was frustrating! but how is he doing now?
He is back home, but his new meds are giving him nausia, so he needs to get another medication for that. We had to cancell our easter plans because he wasn't feeling well.
he is very eager to have his brain tumor removed. I guess he sems to thin that a surgeon will remove it, and he will be instantly back to normal. Well, I know from others who have had relatives going through surgery that it is not going to make it better. Some have only been made worse.
I think treatment would be a better option.
I have no idea on the subject, all I would like to say is I hope things fall into place for you guys as soon as possible.
