I go and check my google earnings about once a week, maybe less. I have noticed that for four or five days I will make nothing, or maybe a few cents. Then, one day I will have like $2.14, then again I will go several days with earnings of .02 a day. Why might this be?
I dunno, that's exactly my pattern of earnings as well!
I could be wrong here, but I *think* it's got something to do with where in your hubs people are clicking. The ads at the top of a hub are the ones that advertisers pay most for, so they're the ones that would generate the highest click value for us as well. Whereas ads right at the bottom of a hub are worth peanuts. Maybe every so often Google puts in ads at the bottom of a hub that are more attractive to readers than the one at the top.
I don't check my earnings as much as I used to, because I find the same thing happens to me. It's a bit of a roller coaster ride i'm either thrilled or a bit disapointed. Mine usully depends on traffic and article's viewed. However I don't really know why?

Why does the CPM amount keep changing?I understand that CPM is the amount you would get for a 1000 views, but why does it keep changing daily.Does the amount you get paid remain the same for the same number of views everytime?

A bit of background first...I joined HP almost two years ago, did a bit of writing and then stopped for a long time. Then went back and got into the apprenticeship program. My hits, on average per day, were a total of 100. I know how much I'd earn from HP per day from that to hit...

Having been with Hubpages for getting on two years now, and having penned 83 Hubs, I think it's time I threw the towel in. Over that time, I conscientiously stuck to all the rules and guidelines, and was rewarded by views gradually rising to around 350 per day with earnings around $25 per month. I...

Hello,I have two hubs and the total views for both combined is 672. You would think I would have earned a penny or five cents right? But I have not. Am I doing something wrong? I do most of my article stuff on another site which does much better but it seems curious to me in...
