Want to know why Obama is really pushing his cap and trade bill? Working for the Joyce Foundation Obama helped set up the Chicago Climate Exchange, a carbon trading company that stands to get a piece of what one liberal has estimated to be a 10 TRILLION dollar market! Guess who the big stake holders are in the Chicago Climate Exchange? Yup, Goldman Sachs and Al Gore!

You liberals make me laugh! You think your people give a crap about you? About justice? It's just amazing to me how the main stream media ignores stories like this.

You are right, Goldman Sachs stands to make unimaginable sums of money with the cap and trade bill -- and I haven't heard a single thing said about this in the media, and it's not new news by any stretch.

The Cap and Trade bill provides for the auctioning of allowances with set percentages of the proceeds going to low income households, reducing the federal deficit, and funding carbon reduction programs in developing countries.....among other things.

The spin the liberals will use to gain passage of this bill will no doubt focus on this redistribution of wealth via the monies raised under cap and trade.  It is hard for me to believe that the money going out to the poor will in any way compensate for the higher costs they'll incur for every single they consume 24/7.  And the middle class will eventually join the ranks of the poor, and the gap between the truly rich and the poor will widen, all in the interests of, to quote the United Nations, "...of consumers paying the true environmental costs" of products and services.  Consumers in rich nations anyway.

Goldman Sachs will make another fortune, big corporations will profit hugely as they work the cap and trade system, and individuals like Al Gore will eat their Waygu steak and laugh all the way to the bank in their private jet.

Cap and Trade should not be a partisan issue, Democrats and Republicans both need to fight this farce.

The silence from the left is deafening! If Bush had the connections we see here the left would be up in arms!

No, they actually BELIEVE Obama's cap and trade policy is designed to save the planet and create a new green economy! LOL!
The whole thing reads like a fairy tale... "and they lived happily ever after."
Obama should have that line at the end of every one of his speeches!

"Dr. James Hansen, director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (NASA GISS), speaking as a private citizen on Earth Day, called on the public and lawmakers to reject the "smoke and mirrors" of energy bills now before Congress, which rely on "cap-and-trade" and "offsets." "We need a bill designed for the public, not for big banks and fossil-fuel companies."

Investment bankers would handle and profit from emissions trading under a cap-and-trade scheme."

Oh, the media does more than ignore these facts.  They do they're best to bury them.  Noticed where our noble leader called anyone who supports the new Arizona law a supporter of racism and Apartheid.  The poll released yesterday evening shows that 50% of Democrats support the new tough Arizona immigration law.  By Obama's own words evidently half of the Democrats are racists and supporters of Apartheid.  Obama is an incompetent baffoonand an embarrassment to this nation.

I also noticed none of the media reporting on the violence  that occurred at the protests. I wonder why that is? Of course Al Sharpton now wants to get involved with his movement the National Action Network whose motto "No Justice, No Peace" implies violence. An odd move by Sharpton since 50% of blacks are opposed to illegal immigration.

In the words of Al Gore, 'Those are inconvenient facts'.  Maybe I didn't get that quote exactly right????

70% of Arizona citizens support this bill, which by the way would not be needed if the Federal Government would enforce their own laws. The State acts on their OWN behalf to stifle illegal entry and Obama immediately attacks Arizona as a racist State.

      November is gonna be fun!

I agree 100%.  I am still waiting for someone to give me a good reason why we should not enforce our laws.  All I hear is about how "they want a better life."  Yeah, so does your local crack dealer and street pimp.

Team Gore, Team Obama, Team Strong.... FRAUD!!!

Screw the people out of every last nickel... create a socialist police state.  The very very very few... enjoy the labors of the masses.

And if people are too uneducated to see what is going on... then they will get what they deserve.  Freedom isn't free, never has been.

Thank the Chinese... at least finally something they created worth owning... for gunpowder.

If this is not stopped the masses will likely be grateful for the 2nd Amendment.
