Devil Fairings

While the pigs and bears are the most mass produced the devil still gets his due. Devil Fairings are quite collectible and come in either a whimsical, cherubic look or the traditional, somewhat evil look. There are several styles of devils available and all are fairly rare. If you find a cherubic devil on a wishing well with a pig in it - snatch it up. I've never seen one come up for sale although I've seen it in my reference book listed below. Be ready to pay a large price for it I'm sure. There is one figurine with a devil on a submarine that has Japan written on the side. It sold upward of $800. I've only seen 2 of those on ebay.

Some devil fairings are featured in a book called "This little Piggy" which is still available at Amazon.com. Although pricing is from 1992 it is still an excellent reference.
