    The ragdoll with red hair can I buy or make these ones?

    I would make some for children for free if possible by copyright, but would also like to use it in a business I'm making now as a theme.  I prepared to discuss this with the maker.  It is a skirt and bag making business.

    It sounds like you're referring to Raggedy Anne? There is all kinds of merchandise that can be purchased with the Raggedy Anne and Andy theme. Also, there is little anyone can do if you're making similar items for gifts for family and friends, but once you get into the business side there would definitely be some licensing issues and a small business may not be able to afford permission.

    Great information...Thanks Wychic.  Now you mention it I've heard of Raggedy Anne - I'll check out the licensing issues much appreciated, I suspect the same about the costs for a little business.  Much appreciated ;-)
