Has anyone played Entropia?
Have you profited from it, and do you think there is money to be made there?
Do you thibk about Project Entropia? I heard about this game.
In my opinion, playing games can be source of profits, but I'm afraided about amount of this profit...May it is good way of earning money via hobbies but I cannot see any upkeep chances in it.
I do play, and it's fun, but it is more fun if you invest, it is very hard to start making any money in the game with out first investing. Another way I see a profit gain is by creating things with the materials found in the game, and selling them at auction. One gamer that has been playing Entropia for years recently made a $335,000 sale of a virtual piece of property called Club Neverdie, it is a nightclub in the game. Yes, $335,000 REAL dollars.. it's astounding really.
Entropia Universe has been advertised as a virtual world that mirrors real life in that it even has an ingame currency that can be converted into the USD. True to its billing, making money in the game is also as difficult as in real life, but not impossible... read more

Hey, just out of curiousity, have any of you played Borderlands for the Xbox 360? I rented it and like it (though I am also in the middle of several other games as well). However, I thought that I would get your thoughts on the game. What did you think of the game?

Would you play an online game where you could make money?Would you play an online game, if it was strategy based, massively multiplayer, and could earn money? Bear in mind that the same money that you earn would also be at risk during the game?Think Risk...with chips.

We all have those video game accomplishments that we cherish. Maybe it was dominating your local arcade's Street Fighter II machine for an entire summer. Maybe it was finally beating that Genesis title, and watching the end cinematic roll at 2 a.m. Maybe it wasn't a game so much as that time you...
