    Do you prefer to play or run a roleplaying game?

    If you had your choice, would you be the DM/GM or just play the game?

    I'd rather be a player than the DM. I can be pretty creative when I'm writing, but if I'm trying to think of things on the fly, with people who could alter it with a single decision, I feel like I would stumble a lot. I think I would end up making it needlessly easy, or difficult. It definitely takes practice to get the logistics right.

    I'd prefer to run the game. I've helped with several games/servers in game as well as the development of game material. I usually get bored of playing a game so improving it or altering it slightly to help others stray from the boredom phase is what I like to do.

    I would prefer playing. While I think creating a campaign might be something I'd find fun, I don't think I'd be able to handle running the game in real-time.
