Lifestyle Changes

It is not always easy to make changes in the way we live. We have gotten into some pretty bad habits with food, exercise and dealing with stressful situations. Making wise food selections is a good beginning to lowering your blood pressure, but make only one change at a time, and don't pressure yourself if you slip backwards. Enjoy your social life with friends and family and have special pals that you can share issues in your life. Just talking about problems can be helpful in releasing anxiety. Spend some quiet time alone and meditate, even for ten or fifteen minutes. Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi are also excellent stress relievers. Using the RESPeRATE is a form of meditation.

Use a RESPeRATE

I have left the best for last. I discovered the RESPeRATE three years ago when my husband ended up in the emergency room with dehydration. His blood pressure was elevated to systolic 200mmHG over diastolic 90mmGH. When we left the emergency room his blood pressure had returned to a safe level. This was a wake up call for us. I researched the RESPeRATE and decided to make the purchase. His blood pressure went down to the range of 120-130 over 68 in less than two months. I use the RESPeRATE everyday as it has a wonderful and calming effect as a meditation. The RESPeRATE is approved by the FDA.

I once did a biofeedback experiment when I was a psychology student in college. While hooked up to a biofeedback machine, I was told to relax and concentrate on lowering my heart rate. I was amazed as I watched the machine show that my heart rate slowed down. I'm a great believer in meditation to lower stress and blood pressure, and can see how this device would work. Interesting hub, voted up and shared!

Well, I had no idea about Resperate at all. I'm surprised that such a device can be so effective that one is able to stop all medications. This is a revelation and your experience is worth noting.

      Hi Carol

this is very interesting. I had never heard of this gadget. It sounds a little like biofeedback on steroids...:) Kicked it up a notch. I am recommending this to family and friends who have pressure issues.

Is your husband's pressure still down? Is he meds free? I hope so.

Sending you many Angels this evening :) ps

Resperate is a non-drug therapy for the treatment of high blood pressure and reduction of stress without medicines. I, however, plump for yoga and asanas in stead for keeping blood pressure at bay. Thanks for the useful article.
