What are good foods to build up immune system?
For example, when everyone in the office is sneezing and coughing and you don't want to catch a cold.
All citrus fruits are good (Lemons and grapefruits being the best). They provide Vitamin C. And Vitamin C is natural booster.
Garlic is natural antibiotic that cleans the body of infections. Havin 1-2 cloves with dinner is okay.
All probiotic rich foods (with natural yeast or bacteria). I don't know if you have russian bread or balkan yogurt in the store.
All bee subproducts (honey being the tastiest and propolis being the best).
Herbal teas (Chamomile and lime blossoms being best).
Any drink. Glass of red wine or cognac will be the best choice. They both help the body get warm and battle infections.
HTH
oranges, lemons, ginger, oregano oil; grapefruit seed extract, colloidal silver, peppermint. tea. honey. vitamin c.
I just wrote a hub on this subject for back to school, it could also be applied to the office. I agree with m0rdor. Citrus, garlic, and yogurt all contain immune system boosters. Carrots are also a good way to boost your immune system, as they contain high amounts of vitamin A, a vitamin relating to carotinoids. When you think of carotinoids think of color. Yellow, orange, ect. Carrots also contain beta glucans, which are also beneficial to your health. They boost immunity, as well as vitamin a,c,e, and zinc. If I am exposed to germs, coughing ect. I suck on a zinc lozenge, and take oil of oregano, for a way to stop it before it starts. They will also help get rid of it faster if you do catch it. Another way to boost immunity it to start in August with a multivitamin, before the cold and flu season hits. Containing vitamins a,c,e, and zinc, as well as vitamin D3. Research has found you will lessen the amount of colds and flu by 50%, by just taking a multivitamin. the article is http://artist101.hubpages.com/hub/what- … ne-cabinet
Airborne is another supplement you can take. It is a immune boosting supplement containing immune boosting vitamins and herbs. Comes in many different flavors, as well as a travel dose, just add to water and drink. Oscillococcinum, is for the flu.
Take sufficient vitamin tablet, green fruits and of course milk daily..
