Pride as the inflation of the ego - essential, or unnecessary?
"Blessed are the meek for they shall see God. Pride goeth before the fall" There is a distinct difference between pride, and confidence. Pride is believing that you accomplished things on your own, that you had no help, or support in your endeavors. He is in all things, they are not possible without him. Be grateful not proud, or arrogant about your successes, You can be confident, and gracious, with out being prideful. The lord giveth, and the lord taketh away. He gave you the wisdom, the knowledge, and the opportunity.
