How to get my mojo back?

    Hey,

I have been working since I was 17, now I am 27 and I find myself struggling with motivation a lot. I find it hard to stay motivated and it has hampered my career in a massive way. I could probably still live with that but it has also started to take a toll the quality of my life. I have become quite lazy and indecisive and feel like I am losing respect of others.

    Any advice/suggestion/tip welcome.

    Thanks,
    Aditya

It sounds like you are experiencing a form of depression.
The only cure I know of for depression is taking action. The less active one becomes mentally and physically the more depressed they become. Eventually they withdraw from friends and family.
The strange irony is once (they) cut themselves off from loved ones they convince themselves that nobody understands or cares about them!
The 20s are a time for "self-discovery". You're not suppose to have all the answers by age 27. Some people don't figure out what they want to do until they're 40 or older. Cut yourself some slack!
Consider joining a few Meetup.com groups who have hobbies or interests that align with your own or simply be willing to experiment and try new things. Read inspirational books or biographies of those whom you admire. Whatever you do don't paint yourself into a corner and withdraw from the rest of the world. Sometimes you have to "fake it until you make it".
Find someone who has done or is doing whatever you hope to do one day and learn what steps they took. "Success leaves clues". Two people using the same recipe are likely to get similar results.
Be aware of who you are spending your time with, what you're listening to, and don't over indulge on negativity in the news.  Having a girlfriend/boyfriend can also be a great thing. Best wishes!
