Why does Medicare NOT provide dental care?

    Are teeth not part of the body?  My dads teeth almost killed him and he had good teeth to look at them.  I don't remember what exactly what was wrong with them, but they put such a strain on his heart he was a high risk for a heart attack.  He had to have them all pulled.

      It's the biggest ripoff! Oral and dental health is a major part of overall health. Medicare is keeping people's lives at risk because they cannot afford preventive and other dental care. No one is looking for tooth whitening and expensive procedures...just decent dental care.

      BUT, I pay about $18 a month for a plan, that has really come through for me.
