    I just wanted to share what I consider a GOLD MINE. I'm thankful for finding it and I wanted to share.

    ---------> Google "Celebrate Revovery"

    This is a 12 step for Christians, though you don't have to be.
    There are meeting at many places. This is why I like it,

    1) It incorporates Christian values/ inspiration with 12 step
    2) You get help with ANY problem including:
    ................adult child of alcoholic

    you get the idea.

    This is the first time I did NOT FEEL JUDGED!

    I recommend this --it's a life saver and I'm so looking forward to going every week or 2-3x a week.

    Sounds like a wonderful idea. Can make a great difference. Something we could use here on this side of the ocean in Riga, Latvia.

    That is actually where I got sober! Its a program based on the 12 steps and principles of AA but it is Christian based. I still attend those meetings regularly though I do know some people in recovery that prefer AA but hey what ever keeps your mind healthy is what I believe is right for you. I am a big 12 step fan but I also enjoy the Christian based recovery meetings.
