Count your blessings....

I remembered that song about counting your blessings and naming them one by one...
Also that song about being blessed: I am so blessed I am so blessed I am so grateful for......
Anyway just got me thinking about all that I have to be grateful for.
What blessings are you grateful for in your life?

My kids... always keep them in mind when everything else looks bleak. They are a joy.

(Bruce Carroll - Sometimes Miracles Hide)  Song came out while my wife was pregnant and absolutely, word for word, (including the exact proposed ultimatum), could have been written about our situation.

Oh yeah, I'm blessed alright. I work a crappy job, look like Bigfoot, have zero talents, and have high-functioning autism. Hooray for me.

To be fair, at least I live in a nice house. So there's that.

Hooray for you is right, you have a job at least while many are out of work and you are high functioning not full on Autistic and you have a roof over your head which many don't. So you have many more blessings than you think. If you put all your energies into being more positive than dwelling on the negative you'd have a much happier existence. Smile for a change.
