A question for all the "evolutionist" types. Why do we get angry? Do "other" animals express the same "emotion"? Or are we alone in this trait? Why do YOU get angry?

Anger comes from fear. Fear is a survival mechanism triggered by the sympathetic nervous system. We, and other animals, have evolved this response to enable us to better deal with threats to our physical survival.

What a cute little angry--what is that?

Can't say I get angry at creationists--not unless they'd force me to believe that stuff--it would then be shades of Fahrenheit 451..

I think it is a wolf. Not so sure it would be cute "in the flesh." big_smile

You have just been cornered by three wolverines. What is your response? You have 1.5 seconds to respond. big_smile

I get angry. Anger is just energy. It's a burst of energy. I think Mark has it right.

Lots of people think anger is bad but I see it as neutral. It's what a person does with it that counts. People have choices about how to use it---sometimes. Although not when cornered  by a wolverine they don't. big_smile
