I am currently happy. Although I think I would be doing better if I went back to college so I would have better job opportunities.

You have to get a Master's Degree and beyond specifically in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subject in order to have a very good job.  A college degree nowadays is equivalent to a high school education.  In order to get a good job or better, one needs at least a Master's Degree.

Making a ton of money wouldn't necessarily make me happy.

          Maybe becoming independent /self-reliant would.

Sure, but that doesn't involve a ton of money.

I believe free time is way more valuable than money.
J'adore free-time! If money gets me that, I'll work for it.

Done that, gmwilliams, had the letters after my name and the job.  Now spend my days growing fruit and veg and taking care of my rescue animals.  Much happier. smile

Yes and no.  I am generally a happy person because I choose to focus on the good things in life, but I've  always been someone who is never satisfied - and that can lead to always believing maybe the grass is greener on the other side of the fence I suppose.

I do love my life overall and feel very blessed; I consciously choose to focus on abundance, but I also never feel like I've done "enough".  I always wonder what it would be like to do something different or what I can do next.  Sometimes never feeling full or satisfied wears on a person and leads to anxiety and feeling blue.

Sometimes I wish I could just be happy with "what is" more.
