What a homoeopath physician asks during the consultation?
Homeopathic system of medicine treats the person who is diseased . The homoeopath needs a detailed understanding of who you are, along with details of any complaints and how you experience them. The series of questions on this site will lead you through all the types of information required in order to treat you. Therefore, the physician, during the interview, has to identify those features of the illness, which are most peculiarly belonging only to that person, so as to be able to identify the required medicine for the patient. As a result, a detailed enquiry of the patient’s complaints including his mental symptoms is absolutely necessary. This process is called the case study. The more your homoeopath knows about you, the more easily will he or she be able to treat you effectively.
I don't know if my experience with homeopathic medicine is unique or not, but the questions my homeopath asked me were as follows:
1. Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?
2. How many teeth does a turtle have?
3. If you had to go and live for one year on a desert island what color socks would you wear?
4. Is coffee good for you or not? List reasons, evidence for your opinion and bring me a coffee from Starbucks with two creams and one sugar. Do this with flair.
5. Shake your booty.
I think these questions may have a deeper, more medical dimension to them than at first appears. The homeopathic doctor is a a strange bird. He knows more than you would at first imagine.
Proceed with caution.
