Do you get food cravings after exercise?

    Do you get food cravings after exercise?

    I've read in a few dfferent places that food craving can differ depending on the type of training you do, be it running, high intensity training or weights.
    I don't get any cravings after my workouts, what about you guys?

    I dont get cravings for specific foods, but I do get ravenous after a workout depending on the intensity. It takes some self control to eat slowly and let my body signals match the food intake.  Eating right is a skill, attention should be paid to proper portions and the types of food you ingest. Visiting a nutritionist was one of the best ideas i've had.

    If you are eating every 3 hours then you prob aren't going to be starving after workout.  You should always eat some protein within 30 minutes of workout to help muscles to recover faster.

    I'm usually ravenous after my workouts.  In need of plenty of protein and carbs.

    Oh ya. I always have a protein shake after working out. Always.
