Every teen through adult should drink at least 8 - 8 ounce glasses of water per day. This equals 1 gallon of water. Your body is 90% water and we all need it to survive and have good health.
It has been said that an adult should drink 8 8oz glasses a day, which would equal half a gallon. However, a better rule of thumb is to divide your weight (in pounds) by two to determine how many ounces you should drink. For instance, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should drink 75 ounces of water each day.
