Is it Appropriate That HIV/AIDS is No Longer an Adult Subject and is being Taught to Children?...
Children From 7 Years Old?
Unfortunately, in the society we live in today, children are being born HIV+. Since our young people are exposed to people with HIV or AIDS on a daily basis, they need the knowledge to keep them safe from infection. Children need to learn about HIV and AIDS; how the disease is spread; precautions they need to take in certain situations; how to report needles they may see on the ground; and, how best to safeguard their own health.
It is a sad state of affairs when our very young people need to be concerned with things like this; but, it only takes one mistake to become infected.
