I haven't had my period in 2 1/2 months. But I stopped my birth control 3 months ago.
My fiance and I have been having unprotected sex. Could I be pregnant and that be why I'm missing periods? Or is it just the birth control detoxing from my body?
From personal experience I can tell you that you can get pregnant right away after stopping your birth control pills. I don't know why you wouldn't have taken a pregnancy test yet unless you aren't ready for kids and are looking for excuses.
Whatever the case, it is not normal and you should either take a test or go see a doctor. Probably not the answer you were looking for but it is the one you need to hear and do.
