One thing to keep in mind is that some measurements of overweight, like the BMI aren't very accurate. They don't take into different body compositions based on age, race, gender, or athleticism. A doctor or a personal trainer could give you an idea of how much percent fat you carry and could compare your BMI to other measurements.
