Mind over matter... Keep on telling yourself and reassuring yourself you want it to happen...
The physical part is more purging your system of the toxins that make you feel bad and wanting to disguise it with more drugs...
Keep from falling for the false sense illness and its dependency your imagining by taking lots of good stuff; like Multi vitamins, lots of B's, mega B's, vitamin C 1000mg three time a day, Calcium/Magnesium to calm you down... Chamomile Tea, Milk Thistle Tea and tables....
Start exercising to keep yourself busy and moving so your system can burn off energy and move new fluid into the cell space you contaminated with the toxins you put in it... This is the fastest way of going through it... Focus on doing good stuff like exercise and taking care of yourself... Learn how to love what you have rather than destroying it...
If you really want to change its yours to do, no one can do it for you... You need to find the purpose, motive and intent for your choice in your heart... Your reason for change must be personal and meaningful...
Remember you cannot find yourself in a drugged up version of yourself...
Good luck, it is up to you, how badly you want the change...
Hiding behind a dependency will never solve any issue, know this...
I appreciate this information. I myself don't understand an addiction like this. I dont have an addictive personality so it's hard to understand. A very close friend of mine is struggling with this... I am trying to find helpful information to make this easier for her.
I appreciate this.

What can we do as Americans to help end the cycle of crime and dependency in American cities? This is not about race or ethnicity. It is about differences in levels of education and income in the United States.
