   Could someone please tell me a little more about alternative medicine and Reiki healing?
   
   I'm really interested in alternative medicine and wondered if someone knowledgable would share what that know with me? I'm particularly interested in Reiki.

   Hi, frankiesoup, I'm not very familiar with Reiki, but I know a lot about EFT and I write about it, too. So if you look at my hub, you will find a growing list of articles about EFT, holistic healing, alternative methods etc.
   
   EFT is easy to learn, can be self-administered, has a high success rate and is absolutely safe.

   I have been involved with alternative healing for almost 33 years.  But, anything can be an alternative healer to you and there are specific things, like Reiki, Herbs, Aromatherapy, Sound; I've tried those and they do work better than any pharmacoiea can outside of deep trauma.  But that is what started the whole thing.
   About Reiki.  I had been working pretty hard at a hospital for almost 10 years and in the end my Chakras were so out of line by all of the electrically induced energy wave patterns in a hospital.  Long story short, it got to where it was so painful to bend over and put on shoes.
   I know it was partly due to the vaccines I had taken and some of the other things like drinking Sodas and not enough water, bla, bla, bla.  But I did stop those things and it was still going on. 
   I had a Reiki session and that was immediate!  And I cannot remember what the pain was like.
   You do know what Chakras are, don't you?  They are subtle areas of energy within your body that respond and react to color and sound vibration.

   Reiki is a system of healing in which the universal energy is used for healing the energy body of the individual.
   
   Our physical body is closely interlinked with our energy body (energy body could be photographed with Kirlian photography). Our chakras are located in our energy body. When the energy is properly channeled, the energy body is healed which in turn heals the physical body.
