i had 2 crowns put on my upper molars, right next to each other.
They sometimes hurt. The dentist first drilled decay from old fillings,
then i had temps put on. i was having lots of pain from that. They rushed order the new crowns, they then removed temps and put this sensitivity solution on it. oh did that hurt really bad.(by the way, they didnt give me any novacaine. thye tehen put the crown on and ihad so much ppain, my eyes werer watering. Now its been 3 weeks tand they still kind of hurt. i takeabout 1 tylenol during the day abdan excedrin at night to relkieve the pain. what is my en
I am not quite sure, I personally have never had crowns but my mom once did, if I recall correctly the pain wasnt supposed to last more than a week or two and she didnt have to take any pills. More than that Id suggest call your dentist and ask about it or simply get an appopintment for a check up in case something was wrong.
Ive heard a few times people got some complications which required some check up so Id suggest to call and ask and if they don't give you an answer that'd make you comfortable ask for an appointment and talk to your doctor or seek a second opinion.
maybe i should, just want to know why and does it take awhile
for nerves to settle down. its been 3 weeks now. i did have the 2 crown molars put in at same time.
go back to the dentist, or another if you don't trust the one who did the job.
