Is there a cover a dentist or i can put over my chipped front teeth while i wait for a bonding?
Im going to get a bonding in 7 days on my 2 front teeth. I have school tomorrow and i cant go back to school with chipped teeth.
The size of the chip is important as well as how soon you can visit a dentist. A chip that exposes the root of the tooth can be serious. Infection can set in quickly. This is not usually the case where the chip is very minor where there is minimal damage to the enamel.
Any damage to any tooth should be given medical attention as soon as possible. Sometimes a small chip can become enlarged quickly simply by biting on a chicken bone, mashing of the teeth together, or biting on a spoon while eating.
The first step is to contact your dentist as soon as the injury occurs and get the dentist's advice. Note that these are my suggestions based on personal experience. Definitely consult a dentist before applying any kind of covering to a damaged tooth. Please note that I am not a dentist.

How to I stop my son from chewing food with his front teeth? He predominently chews food with his front teeth and they are showing significant signs of wear. He will be losing his baby teeth soon and I am concerned that he will damage his adult teeth by continuing to chew with his front teeth.
