    I always write, poetry at times like those, sort of takes me to places and I am not aware it is a healing. If it is stuff that pours out that is negative, then after writing burn it, that also is a healing.

    I tell my self -- common sneh you can't be like this...cheer Up!

    I try to keep the "no body died" attitude of Boris Becker

    when he lost his match at Wimbledon which he was the hottest favorite to win the championship.     --Thanks

    Yep, Chocolate works or maybe ice cream.  Cookies and candy bars are good too. Hmmm. I see a pattern here.
    Spend time with someone worse off than you. Take the dog for a walk.  Call an old friend. Get involved in a good book. 
    Do anything that will claim your full attention.

    I try not to eat :-)

    I find a song that makes me happy, or a child that needs a hug...

    I truly think that to life yourself up you need to find what makes you smile on any normal day and do it! I paint, write, sculpt or bead. Creating something with my hands soothes me, and gets my mind off what is troubling me.

    do something you enjoy or go for awalk exersize helps when you are sad
