Why is it important to take vitamins while pregnant and what will happen if you don't
When you are pregnant, the baby uses up a lot of your vitamins. Taking prenatal vitamins keeps both mom and baby full of the essential vitamins that you both need to be strong and healthy.
On the other hand, when I was pregnant, I tried to take them but they made me sick so I had to stop. My child was fine, I just had to make sure I got my vitamins in the food that I ate.
If you don't get enough folic acid, your child will be one of the poster children for the charities doing surgery for cleft palate.
