What is your opinion on late night drinking for single ladies, or unacompanied women?

Most ladies go for a night out far from home, and obviously need transport home. As you can imagine, if they are all drunk even if they have cars they can not drive and have to use public means or private transport. How do you think the society and politicians can intervene

First things first.  What is the difference between males having too much to drink or females having too much to drink?  If a single male goes into a pub far enough from his residence and has too much to drink, doesn't he too need a ride?  If a group of people, either male or female goes out to drink, one is allotted the title of "designated driver"  whether male or female. Any single person who goes out and drinks ought to know ahead of time how they are getting home safely. Call a cab, take a bus, or walk.  Gender has nothing to do with drunk drivers on the road, nor does it have anything to do with politicians or the greater society.  It is a matter of self control, self governance.  If a person of either gender violates the already existing rules and drives drunk, then that person should be held to the law no matter what gender.
