Hey Apostle Jack!(no one ever writes these awnswers TO: anyone haha)
Well yes and no. I have a pretty good idea of what I want out of my life (writing is involved) but sometimes my goals aren't logical which is a bummer so I find ways to incorporate them into what IS logical.
For a number of years I used to write out my goals and place them where they could be occassionally reviewed so that I could monitor my progress. Sometimes I did achieve most of my goals for a particular year; not all, but most. Then I read a few of Dr. Wayne W. Dyer's books where he mentioned that he never had any specific goals - not for a long time, anyway - yet he always seemed to get the opportunities, the breaks, and the motivation to succeed in his various projects. So, I stopped the goal-making bit.
Now, I'm beginning to wonder. Maybe I should start writing out gaols again.
What I do do, is write out and practice affirmations. I find this helpful. But that is another subject, so I won't go into that here.
